Privacy policy
Last updated 1 September 2026
Novo Real Estate Media is a one-person photography business in Geneva, Illinois. This page says exactly what happens to information you give this website. It is short because the site does very little: there is no advertising, nothing is ever sold or shared for marketing, and the only measurement is Google Analytics counting which pages get read.
What this site collects
Only what you type, and only when you choose to send it.
| When you | What is collected | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Use the contact form | Name, email, and optionally phone, property address, what the job is and your timing, plus your message | Emailed to connect@novorealestatemedia.com |
| Book a shoot | Name, email, phone, property address, how to get in (including a lockbox code if you give one), whether the property is occupied, whether you will be there, whether we have worked together before, your notes, and the package and price | Calendly, which puts the booking on the business calendar |
| Ask for a quote by email | Your email address and the quote you configured | Emailed to you, copied to the business inbox |
| Pay a retainer | Card details, entered on Stripe’s own page | Stripe. Card numbers never reach this website or its servers |
Browsing the site without using a form collects nothing beyond the standard server request logs described below.
What this site does not do
- No advertising or profiling. No Meta pixel, no ad networks, no retargeting, no heatmaps and no session recording. Nothing you do here follows you around other websites.
- No selling or sharing. Your details are never sold, rented, traded or handed to anyone for marketing.
- No mailing list. Contacting us does not sign you up to anything. You will get a reply, not a newsletter.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count which pages are read and which ones lead to a booking. That is the whole reason it is here — a page about Naperville is worth keeping if Naperville agents actually use it, and worth rewriting if they do not.
What it records:
- The pages you look at, when, and the site or search that sent you here.
- Your browser, device type and rough location — city level, worked out from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not store the IP address itself.
- A few specific actions: opening the booking calendar, starting a card payment, completing a booking, and sending the contact form. Bookings are recorded with the package and the amount, so it is possible to see which pages produce work.
It does not record your name, email, phone number, the property address, or anything else you type into a form. Those go to us by email and to Calendly and Stripe as described above — never into Analytics.
Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) to
tell a returning visit from a new one. If you would rather not be counted, browser
tracking protection or Google's
opt-out
add-on will stop it, and nothing on this site breaks if you do — the calculator,
the booking and the contact form all work exactly the same.
Storage in your browser
Two things are saved on your own device and never transmitted anywhere:
- While you are paying a retainer, your booking details are held in the browser so the confirmation page can complete the booking when Stripe sends you back. It is deleted the moment the booking succeeds, and disappears when you close the tab regardless.
- On the photo-day checklist page, which items you have ticked, so the list survives a refresh.
Services this site relies on
A handful of third parties see some of your information because they perform part of the job. Each has its own privacy policy.
| Service | What it does | What it sees |
|---|---|---|
| Calendly | Scheduling and the calendar | Everything in a booking |
| Stripe | Card payments | Your card details and billing information |
| Resend | Sends the emails this site generates | The contents of those emails |
| Netlify | Hosts the site | Standard server logs: IP address, browser, pages requested |
| Google Fonts | Serves the typefaces | Your IP address when a font loads |
| YouTube & Panoee | Embedded example video and 3D tours | Only if you visit a page carrying one. The video embed uses YouTube’s no-cookie domain |
How long anything is kept
Booking records and enquiry emails are kept as ordinary business records — they are what a shoot is scheduled and invoiced from. Payment records are held by Stripe for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Photographs of your property are kept so they can be re-delivered or re-edited if you ask.
Lockbox and access codes are only ever used to get into the property for your shoot. Ask and they will be removed from the booking record afterwards.
Your choices
Email connect@novorealestatemedia.com or call (630) 480-6659 and you can ask to:
- See what information is held about you
- Have something corrected
- Have your details deleted, apart from records that must be kept for tax or accounting
- Get a copy of your booking details
No account, no form, no waiting on a portal. Just ask and it will be dealt with.
Photographs of your property
Photographs taken on a paid shoot may be used in this portfolio and in marketing, because showing the work is how the business is found. If you would rather your property was not shown, say so — before or after the shoot — and it will not be. No reason needed and no effect on your price. Interiors of occupied homes are never published without the seller’s agreement.
Children
This site is for people arranging property photography and is not directed at children. No information is knowingly collected from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be described here rather than quietly folded in.
